When nature turns green here, you can discover the wonderful landscape around Berwang on many hiking and walking paths. The region’s mountain and swimming lakes or the numerous sights are always a worthwhile destination: for example, we have one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world and the castles built by the fairytale king Ludwig II are only about 40 minutes away by car.

By the way, the mild climate here in the mountain region ensures the very best excursion and hiking conditions, because even in summer it never gets too hot.

Join the grandchildren on a winter adventure

If you are planning a winter holiday with your grandchildren, you can look forward to a magical snowy landscape. And then the whole range of winter sports is possible: perhaps you’ll set off together on a snowshoe hike or head out with the sledge.

If your grandchildren are already a bit older, you can also explore the snowy landscape on one of the many cross-country skiing slopes. Snowboarding and downhill skiing offer faster speeds on the 36 kilometres of ski slopes. So the older kids are totally in their element here.
