King Ludwig II of Bavaria already knew how beautiful it is in the mountains. That’s why he had two of his castles built here: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Hohenschwangau castle, where the king spent his childhood, is also very close to our children’s hotel on the Zugspitze. So experience a truly royal outing.

View over the suspension bridge in Reutte

So long and so high –

the ultimate bridge.

Who dares to cross one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world? This breathtaking construction stretches over a length of over 400 metres between Ehrenberg Castle ruins and Fort Claudia in Reutte. And at an altitude of 104 metres there are magnificent views of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena mountains or the valley basin from Reutte to the Lech valley.

Zugspitze

The summit experience at 2,962 m.

The Zugspitze is Germany’s highest mountain at 2,962 metres and a prime example of one of the Alps’ mountains with stunning views. In good weather you can enjoy the view over four countries in the distance and the two and three thousand metre (and the only four thousand metre) peaks in the Eastern Alps.
