Adventure Discovery Hike

Join us on an exciting family hike packed with natural wonders and surprises. After a quick meet-and-greet, we’ll learn the key forest rules and set off to discover the fascinating flora and fauna of the beautiful Berwang Valley in Tyrol. Expect a lively nature photo rally, the chance to create a stunning nature mandala, and plenty of close-up discoveries with our bug-viewing jars. We’ll also make sure our mums are happy by gathering a colourful bouquet of at least eight different flower species. The highlight comes at the end: a relaxed family picnic high in the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking Alpine scenery and fresh mountain air.

And of course, a few small surprises await you along the way!

Forest Bathing

Feel Nature with All Your Senses

Dive together into the enchanting world of the forest. Listen to nature’s voices, feel the soft woodland floor beneath your feet and uncover hidden treasures by touch. Using a keen sense of smell, discover the forest’s fragrances and create your own scented sachets filled with herbs and blossoms from the Berwang Valley.

A hide-and-seek game sharpens our eyesight as we playfully learn what belongs in the forest – and what doesn’t. Taste distinctive forest honey and find out how it is made. To finish, craft a beautiful keepsake postcard decorated with flowers and herbs collected along the way.

Herb Walk

Discover Nature’s Treasures

Set off on an engaging herb walk through our beautiful Alpine pastures. Discover which flowers and herbs you may gather—and which must remain untouched, because only what we know for sure can be picked and tasted. Along the trail we’ll identify medicinal herbs and wild plants, learning fascinating facts about their healing properties and everyday uses. With your foraged finds you’ll create a fragrant herb bundle—a little piece of Berwang’s nature to take home. After a relaxed picnic amid the majestic mountain scenery, every child and family receives a Kaiserhof Herb Guide as a keepsake, so budding botanists can deepen their knowledge back home.

Colourful Creative Studio

Family Challenge & Vernissage

Creativity, team spirit and bags of fun await at the ART ATTACK Family Challenge: every family becomes an artist team! Using a mix of materials, you’ll craft your very own masterpiece – imagination knows no limits. In the evening, the artworks go on show in the Kaiserhof Kids’ Club during a mini vernissage for all to admire. Each piece gets a number and enters the competition, with the eagerly awaited winner announced the next day. A vibrant family experience bursting with creativity, laughter and shared crafting joy!

Family Yoga

Relaxation & Movement for All Ages

We ease into the day together: stretching, breathing deeply and letting the sunshine tickle our faces. Using colourful yoga cards, each child takes a turn to pick a pose that we all try out, creating a playful blend of movement, stretching and fun for the whole family. We end with an atmospheric “journey into space”, where we unwind, let our imaginations soar and sink into deep relaxation. A harmonious experience for little yogis and big explorers alike.

Family Outing to the Ehrenberg Castle Ruins

Set off together from Berwang for the mighty Ehrenberg Castle Ruins in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena – an exhilarating adventure for explorers large and small! At the summit you’ll step straight into the Middle Ages: weather-worn battlements, secret towers and plenty of space to marvel, play and conquer. Young guests can dive into hands-on challenges and riddles, transforming into bold knights and graceful ladies of the court. Those who crave an extra thrill can brave the spectacular highline179 suspension bridge (entry fee applies) – a true highlight for visitors with a head for heights.

Family Walk

The Highest Brewery in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena

Enjoy a gentle, pushchair-friendly stroll to Rinnen and Austria’s highest brewery, Stadl Bräu at Thaneller Rinnen. Take a break for refreshments and a brief brewery tour (drinks not included). On the way back, hop aboard the “Stadl-Bräu-Express” mini train for a relaxed ride to Berwang. Fare: €2 per adult/child.

A creative, exciting afternoon awaits explorers big and small: during our Experiment Afternoon, discovery, wonder and hands-on creativity take centre stage. Using child-friendly materials you’ll craft colourful works of art, while simple experiments invite you to investigate and join in – from fizzing mini-volcanoes to glowing rainbows.
