A day on the ski slopes goes by so quickly. That's why it's particularly nice if you don't waste any time getting there and the skiing fun starts right in front of the hotel. You are welcome to leave your car with us, because in the family-friendly ski area of the Berwangertal, 40 kilometers of slopes are waiting for you right on our doorstep. With 13 cable cars and lifts you can easily reach every slope start.
24 kilometers of slopes are marked blue and, with their easy descent, are perfect for children. This makes the Berwangertal a particularly family-friendly ski area, but it also has a lot to offer for more demanding runners: around 10 kilometers of medium-difficulty red pistes and, as a special challenge, 1.5 kilometers of black pistes. With an altitude of 1,300 meters and snowmaking facilities on around 80% of the slopes, nothing stands in the way of your descent.
The Kaiserhof is your family hotel in the middle of the Berwangertal ski area. And just 100 meters from the hotel is the ski school, which gets everyone from 3-year-olds to grandparents fit for the slopes.
We even have penguins in Berwang! To be honest: There's only one - but he's really got it. Because with BOBO, the mascot of the Berwanger Ski School, the little ones from the age of three learn to move playfully in the snow and on the skis during the children's ski course.
The teachers are not only trained in ski technology, but also in child psychology. This way they can empathize with their little students and convey to them the fun of snow and skiing. In the Bambini groups there are a maximum of three participants aged 3 years - the teacher can respond to each child individually. What is important to us: Please bring your children to the ski school in person. There is no transfer from the hotel for children up to 3 years old.
Older children aged 4 to 15 are also welcome at the Berwang ski school and can learn to ski in half-day or full-day courses. No matter whether your children have never been on the skis before or are more advanced: there is a course for everyone, which is always taught by teachers with experience in children. Fun and a sense of achievement are guaranteed. And everyone can show off their skills at the children's ski race and then look forward to receiving a certificate and medal.
